Keep Memory Alive raises funds and awareness in support of the work done at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. At the World Burger Championship, 50 of the world’s best hamburgers and their cooks, as determined by competitions and publications across the country, will receive automatic invitations to enter and compete at The World Food Championships.

The World Food Championship will select 50 winners from branded competitions, online recipe contests and others to receive automatic invitations to enter and compete at The World Food Championships.  These competition winners will prepare their best dish next to 49 other award-winning recipe champs. The winner will earn their right to fight for the championship and the coveted title of World Food Champion.

The World Barbecue Championship will bring the greatest competition barbecue teams, cooks and chefs together under one Vegas sky to settle the score and name the World Barbecue Champion. The World Barbecue Champion will go on to the Final Table and see if ‘America’s Cuisine’ will rule the world. Choosing from all the major sanctioning bodies, The World Food Championships will select 90 premier barbecue competitions. The Grand Champion of those 90 events will receive automatic invitations to enter and compete at The World Food Championships, along with 5 champions selected by the WFC Competition Committee and 5 champions selected by Just A Pinch. What will start with 100 of the best championship pitmasters across all sanctioning bodies, will end up with just one winner.

The world’s best chili cooks will spice up the strip in Las Vegas at the World Open Chili Championship and find out who has the best chili on the planet.

The World Food Championships will select 90 of the biggest and best chili cookoff events and award their winner with an automatic invitation to enter and compete at the World Food Championships.  The events will be selected from across all of the major chili cookoff sanctioning bodies.  In addition to those 90 chili cooks, the WFC Competition Committee will select 5 champions and Just A Pinch will select 5 champions to compete for the title of World Open Chili Champion.

The America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge is a two-tiered competition that involves both competition BBQ teams (Competitor Series) at 12 selected KCBS events in a 5th category competition, and an online recipe submission (Consumer Series) that will allow anyone in America to participate. Winners of the 12 selected events, plus the top 3 second place finishers (tentative) will meet the five best online recipe contributors, as chosen by Reser’s Fine Foods, at the championship event where America’s Best Potato Salad will be chosen. 

This spectacular and amazing evening will feature the Finalists for the World Burger Championship under the stars at the World Burger Bash. While our Top 10 finalists go head to head to impress our chefs for the coveted World Burger Championship title, YOU will get to enjoy and judge the first World Burger Bash, featuring celebrities and their burger creations. Fifty competitors will create their best side-dish fare and then square off for the title of World Side-Dish Champion. The winner will be out to prove that the side-dish takes second plate to no one.

The World Sandwich Championship will pit 50 of the world’s best sandwich-smiths against each other for the title of World Sandwich Champion. The champion will then take their winning stack to the Final Table for a chance to win the World Food Championship.
