A Special Thank You from WFC!

All of us at WFC wanted to pause for a minute and share our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you.
 

Based on what we’ve heard, seen and felt, and hopefully what you experienced as well, the 9th Annual World Food Championships was a resounding success for what we call “Food Sport.” A success that should be shared and appreciated by everyone involved.
 

To mere foodies, the World Food Championships exists as a weeklong celebration of food and competition where the best of the best are identified, rewarded with cash and prizes and earn “food fame and glory.” That said, the World Food Championships, we know, is a much larger and rewarding year-long collaboration of thousands of individual and partner entities working in unison toward a single goal.  Without the enduring efforts of all of these people who have dedicated their time, energy, creativity, and ideas toward our mission, the World Food Championships simply would not exist.  We are proud to see it as a true community effort, a herculean one at that, that includes home cooks, professional chefs, volunteers, foodies, staff, coordinators, partners and sponsors who all work countless hours and give their ALL to make so many dreams come true, all while building ever-lasting friendships along the way.
 

That’s why we think EACH of you is a Champion.
 

THANK YOU to ALL THE COMPETITORS, JUDGES AND SPONSORS who participated this year! Without you, there simply IS NO WFC!!! We truly appreciate your support and role in making the World Food Championships the best it can possibly be.

 

From all of us at WFC, we wish you cheer and happiness (and rest!!) as you continue to stoke your culinary fires in 2022. And we hope you know that we already have our sights set on an even bigger, brighter future. We look forward to seeing you there!
