Texas Home Cook Heads To Columbia For $100,000 Competition

Home Cook Lori McLain was one of 67 Texans who convened at Fair Park in Dallas for the 9th Annual World Food Championships looking to land a respectable Top Ten finish among the competition’s ten categories. The seasoned competitor scooped up the most coveted prize of all –– $7,500 in winnings and the title of 2021 World Soup Champion, which gives her a seat at WFC’s $100,000 Final Table Challenge this April.

Connecticut Chef Heads To Columbia For $100,000 Competition

Professional Chef Carol Koty entered the World Food Championships’ (WFC) 9th Annual Main Event at its newest location of Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, as a seasoned competitor looking to land a respectable Top Ten finish in the seafood category. Turns out she reeled in the most coveted prize of all — $7,500 in winnings and the title of 2021 World Seafood Champion, which gives her a seat at WFC’s $100,000 Final Table Challenge this April.

Professional Baker Evette Rahman entered the World Food Championships’ (WFC) 9th Annual Main Event at its newest location of Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, with a “BIG” target on her back as she prepared to defend her reigning World Dessert Champion title. Not only did she succeed in being crowned a consecutive-year champion, but she has broken records being named the only competitor to ever become a three-time Category Champion.
